Every member on our department is CPR certified, and also SCBA certified yearly. Each member gets a minimum of at least 20 hours of training a year. In April, we had been re-evaluated by ISO and we have just been informed that we now have a ISO rating of five (5). We had been an ISO rating of an eight (8) since the department has been is service. We are very proud of the fact that we have accomplished such a task as a volunteer department. Over the past eight years we have averaged a response times less than eight minutes from the page to on-scene time. Now as of June of 2000 we have certified our main engine as a first responder unit to assist the ambulance with patient care.
