I.V.NET offers a PPP connection. A PPP connection needs a program and client software to work. This includes a WWW browser, FTP, and TELNET. A PPP connection will effectively make your computer part of the Internet. It is a graphical user interface which will allow you to use our point and click software to download files from remote sites directly to your computer. The software is licensed and registered to one user only.

Toll free technical support is supplied by Connecting Point Computer Center. Business or home installation is available and includes setup, installation of modem and configuration of your Internet software. It also includes brief instructions on how to effectively use the software and a short question and answer session, all for one low fee. To get more details ask about our Internet training.

Hardware Requirements   Features  

The minimum hardware requirements are:

  • a 28.8 baud modem or higher,
  • a Pentium processor
  • 16 megabytes of memory
  • 200 mb of free hard drive space running at least Microsoft Windows 95 software. Ideally a Pentium 200+ computer with 32+ megabytes of memory, Windows 95 and the fastest modem affordable would be better.

Windows 3.x is no longer supported.
